Front Drive

Dramatically improves pump life and reliability.

This system eliminates all belt load on pumps, which dramatically improves pump life.

Pump shafts slide into bore inside each pulley shaft. Bearings in the plates support both ends of each pulley and idler.

The drive belt can remain in place and tight while pumps are removed/installed. Belt tension is easily adjusted.

Configurations are available for a wide variety of pump make/models. The most common are: Aviad, Vickers, Waterman, Tuthill, MSD magneto, and HyPro. If you are interested in other accessories, please contact us.
The same drive plate system fits a wide variety of engines by simply changing the mount brackets.. To date, we have developed mounting for: SBJD, BBJD, IH, Perkins V8 and 3208 Caterpillar. We develop new mount brackets as needed.
Pumps may be mounted to either (or both) side of the pump drive. The system can drive up to six pumps!
Each pump position can be driven with a wide variety of ratios - from 50% to 140%.
The assembled unit weighs about 25 pounds (weight varies with pulley sizes), including the belt and mount brackets.
Belt is tensioned by a threaded shaft, then tension slider is locked securely with fasteners.
