Bamber Engineering specializes in the design and manufacture of custom products, with primary focus on custom billet cylinder heads for racing applications. The breadth and depth of our capabilities, experience and tools enables efficient development from a “clean sheet of paper” to finished products.

John Bamber, founder, has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and worked 20 years in Research and Development of advanced technologies for a major corporation. This education and experience, coupled with the close collaboration with Bamber Racing (Bolivar, MO) provides a powerful combination of technology and race engine expertise.

Bamber Engineering employs state of the art 3D CAD capabilities, including stress and thermal modeling. We have 3D Laser Scanning capability, and use it to create 3D CAD models of components our products need to fit, such as engine blocks. The company’s four axis mill routinely creates complex surfaces via programs generated by MasterCam Level 3 software.

Although we are located in Oregon, it is easy for us to work closely with customers in any location. We license and have extensive experience with GoToMeeting software which enables us to display our computer screen on your computer monitor, while talking with you on the phone. This allows us to share our 3D CAD designs, pictures or whatever we desire on a moments notice – which allows us to communicate clearly with customers at any point in the sales/manufacturing process.
